You might htink thats not something you can have when switching to a plant-based diet! But these days there are so many vegan cheese options out there. I try to limit my intake of processed foods like these vegan cheeses, but this lifestyle is not about restricting things, so every once in a while, go crazy with some vegan cheese! (Like maybe only when it’s on a good sale…)
Epic Vegan Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- 1 pat vegan butter I use Earth Balance spread
- 2 slices vegan cheese any brand (I used Violife and Diaya)
- 1 slice tomato
- avocado however much your heart desires
Instructions

take each slice of bread and spread butter on one side. Place on a heated skillet, butter side down.

place one slice of cheese on each piece of bread and allow to melt while the bread toasts

After a couple minutes, remove bread from skillet with a spatual. Top your sandwich with your tomato and avocado! Slice in half and enjoy!
